How do I use the BIBS Dusty Pink/Coral Pacifiers for my little one?
Pacifiers are truly a utensil, which is why it is important to 'check' them regularly. Before you use the BIBS teats, it is important that you always check them for wear, any edge prints or changes in size or shape of the teat and of course cracks in the natural rubber. If there is any sign of damage to the BIBS pacifier, stop using it and take another one from your stock :) The variety is of course also extra fun with all the nice colors & prints, especially to match with cute outfits such as dresses ♡
How do I clean the BIBS Boheme Pacifiers?
Assuming that your Boheme teats are completely intact and are therefore used a lot, it is important that they are cleaned regularly. This doesn't have to be very complicated, and boiled water from the kettle can go a long way. First you boil the water in a kettle or a pan, that is also possible. Once the water has boiled, you can put it in a bowl or in a pan if it comes from the kettle. Then put the Dusty Pink & Coral Pacifiers in and leave them in the water for a MAXIMUM of 5 minutes.
Then take out the pacifiers and place them to dry on a clean towel. They can then cool down. You should NOT give the hot pacifier to your baby, as this will cause burns in your daughter's mouth & you really don't want this!
For daily cleaning or also called sterilization, simply place the BIBS teat in a colander and pour a little boiled water over it. There is no need to boil it out, better yet - don't do it! The natural rubber is not made for this & that is why they break.
Please note: the advice to boil a teat for 5 minutes is based on silicone teats. These BIBS teats are made of natural rubber and this is affected and damaged. The above cleaning method is sufficient, because it kills all bacteria. And let that be whatever you want :)
