These pacifiers are only available in size 2 from us, which means that it is ideal for babies from 6 to approximately 18 months. Not sure if this is the right size? Don't worry - size 2 is the most chosen size and is well accepted by many babies.

How do I clean the BIBS pacifiers?

First use? Then you can first put the pacifiers in a colander and pour boiled water over them! Pacifiers made of natural rubber cannot be boiled, that will damage them. Then let them dry for a while and they are ready for action.

This is how you do daily cleaning:

Rinse with warm water after each use.
Do not put in the dishwasher or microwave sterilizer (heat can damage the natural rubber).
Check regularly for wear – if it feels sticky or stretched, it's time for a new one.

My pacifier smells a bit like rubber… is that normal?

Yes, completely normal! This is because the teat is made of 100% natural rubber and has no coating or is made of silicone. The smell is often less after a few times used. If your little one does not accept the natural rubber teats because of this, which of course also happens sometimes, you can look at silicone teats. These are indeed stiffer and not natural, but odorless and tasteless.
