Which size BIBS pacifier is right for your child?
If your baby is over 18 months old and still likes to use a pacifier, size 3 is perfect. It is slightly firmer and larger than size 2, and fits nicely in a toddler's mouth.
Many children like to suck on their pacifier while sleeping or during exciting moments. And that's perfectly okay - as long as you choose the right size, it's just a nice moment of rest for them.
How do I clean the BIBS pacifiers?
Because these pacifiers are made of natural rubber, they require a little more attention when cleaning. Luckily, it's super easy - you don't need any expensive equipment.
Before first use:
- Bring water to a boil and pour it into a heatproof bowl
- Leave the pacifiers in for a maximum of 5 minutes (no longer!)
- Then let them dry on a clean towel
Daily cleaning:
- Rinse the pacifiers with warm water (without soap)
- No dishwasher, no microwave, and most importantly: no boiling
- Does the teat feel sticky or is it stretched? Then it is time for a new one
My BIBS pacifier smells like rubber – should I be worried?
No worries! That's completely normal. These pacifiers are pure nature, without chemical layers or odor filters. The smell belongs to the natural rubber and is familiar and pleasant for most children.
After a few days of use, you will notice that it will become less. And if your little one is really sensitive to smell or taste? Then you can switch to a silicone variant - but often that is not necessary at all.
