What is the Plastic Bank?
Plastic Bank ensures the recycling of plastic and at the same time that poor people can earn some extra money. In this way, they offer the opportunity to residents of developing countries to earn some extra money by tackling the environmental problem of the enormous mountain of plastic waste. A smart system in which people collect plastic, hand it in at the Plastic Bank and in return receive compensation (above the market price). The waste plastic is then shipped to Western countries for recycling and reuse. In addition, there are also shops where you can pay with plastic. In short: Plastic Bank reduces the plastic waste in the ocean and at the same time improves the lives of those who contribute to this.
What are the pH values of ActNow products?
Did you know that there are many different pH values per hair product and that they all have a different effect on your hair? A pH value is used to indicate how 'acidic' something is. This is indicated with numbers between 0-14, with a pH value of 7 being considered neutral. Anything between 0-7 is considered slightly acidic to strongly acidic. Anything from 7-14 is considered slightly basic to strongly basic. Every hair care product has a pH value.
The pH value of your scalp is on average 4.7 and of your hair 3.7. Hair products that you use all have their own pH value, which is mixed with the pH value of your hair and scalp when used. This can make your hair more acidic. It is best to use a hair product that is close to your own pH value. This is because your hair has to get used to a change in the pH value, which can result in: tangles, frizz, dull hair, split ends, fragile hair, dehydrated hair, less resilient hair, etc. A good pH value (between 3.5-5.0) therefore has a positive effect, which can lead to: shiny, smooth, hydrated, strong, resilient and protected hair. All Indola products are cruelty free, including ActNow hair products! Indola has found alternatives to test the products and determine the safety of the ingredients.
How do I use Indola ActNow care products?
The shampoos from ActNow! are all used in the same way: you distribute the shampoo massaging over wet hair, let it soak in for a while and then rinse it out thoroughly. The shampoos are all mild, free from harmful ingredients, suitable for daily use and all hair types.
We recommend that you always use a care product in the form of a mask or conditioner after shampooing. A shampoo opens your hair cuticles to remove dirt, styling residue, excess grease, etc. from your hair. If you do not use a conditioner or mask afterwards, your hair cuticles will remain open. This makes your hair vulnerable to external influences and can damage it more quickly. Even rubbing your hair dry can be enough to damage your hair. Why should you use a mask or conditioner? These close your hair cuticles. This keeps external influences out, keeping your hair strong, smooth and shiny.
With Indola ActNow! you can choose from three care products: conditioner, mask or a moisture spray:
Color Conditioner - This is a perfect match for the Color Shampoo, but can of course also be used in combination with the Repair of Moisture Shampoo. Apply the conditioner to washed, towel-dried hair and let it soak in for 2 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly.
Repair Mask - You can use the mask in combination with all ActNow! shampoos, but of course it goes perfectly with the Repair Shampoo. Apply the mask to the lengths and ends and let it soak in for 5-10 minutes. Then rinse it out well. Use the mask twice a week, after washing your hair. For example, you can use this mask twice instead of a conditioner.
Moisture Spray - Do you want hydration all day long? Then this leave-in conditioner is really something for you. The hydrating spray is a perfect match for the Moisture Shampoo, but can of course also be used in combination with other shampoos. Use the spray on towel-dried hair (after washing it), spray it on the mid-lengths and ends and do not rinse it out.
