How do I use the Haakaa Colostrum Collector?

Before using the colostrum collectors, it is important that you sterilize them with a steam sterilization system or by placing them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. You should absolutely not use bleach to clean the collector. This is not only toxic, it also affects the product. Use all colostrum in the collector for one feeding.

Colostrum often drips from the nipples (leaking breasts), which can occur from the 27th week. You cannot remove these droplets with nursing pads, so you can now collect them with these handy collectors. You can remove the cap and let the breast milk drip into it, or press the collector and then the vacuum will suck and the breast milk will enter the collector.
