The CHI Lava Hairdryer has three positions:
Snowflake (*) - This gives a cool temperature and dries your hair in a cool way. We recommend that you use this mode if you have thin, fine or dry hair.
Single line (-) - This position gives a low air flow and temperature to gently dry your hair. You can use this mode if you have normal hair.
Double line (=) - This gives a high air flow and temperature for a quick drying. Use this mode if you have coarse or thick hair.
Cold Shot- There is a Cold Shot button on the front of the hair dryer. Press this button if desired to lock your style, because this way the hair scales close again. This button certainly has an added value, because it ensures soft and shiny hair after blow-drying. So switch at the end of your blow dry session (when your hair is about 80% dry) to protect your hair from overheating.
We only give you an indication, of course you can also use the snowflake if you have coarse or thick hair. This is entirely up to you! Use the hair dryer at a distance of approximately 20 cm from the hair. You can use the Smoothing Comb closer to your hair to comb it through. Switch off the hair dryer before removing the plug from the wall socket. Do not pull on the cord, but take the plug from the device to disconnect.
