L'Oreal SteamPod 3.0 is the number 1 steam straightener of the moment. Because this iron uses steam when styling the hair, it is 78% less damaging than a normal straightener. After the great success of the second generation SteamPod from L'Oreal, this has now led to the latest Steampod 3.0! This has been improved in a number of areas and also looks great due to the beautiful white design.

This new steam straightener heats up faster and where the first version could sometimes get warm on the outside, this is no longer the case with this latest version. The temperature is adjustable via intelligent heat control: 3 heat settings from 180 to 210 degrees which is checked every 2 seconds, this for even use. In addition, the integrated water reservoir is also new! This allows up to192m of hair to be styled!

How do I use the L'Oréal SteamPod 3.0?

The SteamPod 3.0 looks a bit different than a regular straightener at first glance, but it is very easy to use! First, apply the heat protector to towel-dried hair. It is best to use the Steampod Smoothing Treatment for this!

Fill the Steampod reservoir with demineralised water. To create steam, after turning on the steam straightener, hold the plates together for about a minute until steam comes out. Choose the temperature that suits your hair type. Make sure it is not too hot. The steam straightener provides better results at a lower temperature of 50° than an average styler. Place the hair (dry hair or at least 80% dry hair) in the middle of the plates and make sure the arrows point downwards while styling. Move the Steampod slowly for the best result.

What is the difference between the L'Oreal Steampod 3.0 and a regular straightener?

What is obvious is that both variants straighten your hair. However, the L'Oreal Steampod 3.0 straightens your hair with steam, see it as if you are removing wrinkles from your clothes with a steam machine. Same idea. Top toon! Stylt super goed en maakt ook prachtige krullen. Heb dit product aangeschaft omdat ik zelf een weave heb. En mijn haar blijft er heel mooi van! In tegenstelling tot mijn oude tool... daar werden mijn punten enorm droog en broos van. Daar hoef ik mij nu geen zorgen meer om te maken!

vroeger had ik 1 uur nodig om mijn haar stijl te krijgen met een “klassieke” stijltang, met de steampod zijn 20 min voldoende :-). Nooit gedacht er gehoopt dat de steampod 3.0. Zo efficiënt zou zijn... Mijn haar voelt super zacht aan en glanzen... Had ik het geweten, had ik eerder een steampod gekocht ! Prijs ligt wel hoog, maar is echt de moeite waard.

Wauw, wat een verbetering. Ideaal dat het waterreservoir nu in de Steampod verwerkt zit. Ik kan met een vol waterreservoir mijn haar twee keer stijlen. Mijn haar glanst ook super mooi na gebruik en voelt niet droog aan. De steampod voelt lekker in de hand en is een stuk lichter dan de Steampod 2.0.
