What is eye shadow?

How do I apply eyeshadow?
You apply the eyeshadow to your eyelids, this can be done in many ways. You can apply it with brushes or fingertips, this also depends on the eyeshadow you use. Powder eyeshadow is best applied with a brush, but cream eyeshadow is easier with the fingers. There are many different brushes for eyeshadow, each with a different purpose.For example, you have shader brushes with which you apply the eyeshadow or a blending brush that helps the eyeshadow to blend out.

What is an eyeshadow primer?
If you have spent hours in front of the mirror to create the perfect eyeshadow look, you naturally do not want it to fade after a few hours. Your created look should stay in place all day long.The skin around your eyes produces fats, which means that the eyeshadow does not adhere as well to the eyelids. You can prevent this with an eyeshadow primer. The primer absorbs the oils and fats that you produce during the day, which means that your eyeshadow does not run as quickly. What types of eyeshadow are there?
You have eye shadow different types of substances:
Powder form

Cream

Liquid
You see the liquid eyeshadow passing by more and more often. The liquid form is very thin in structure and therefore somewhat more difficult to apply, so try to apply it slowly.A liquid eyeshadow stays on the eyelid longer than a powder form, this is because it is liquid and therefore sticks.
How do you remove eyeshadow?
Remove the eye shadow with cotton pads and make-up remover. You can put the make-up remover on the cotton pad and let it rest on your eyelids for a while, this way the make-up remover absorbs the powder in the cotton pad. Make sure that almost everything is off, this is better for your eyes and prevents irritations.
What is blending?
When blending, you apply eye shadow to the eyelids and blend the colours together so that they blend nicely into each other. You can also do this with one colour, which blends nicely into the skin colour. Blending make-up gives a more natural effect. If you do not blend the colours together, you get stripes. By blending them nicely into each other, you get a nice faded effect.
