How do I use the Olaplex Maintenance Shampoo?
You use this shampoo like any other shampoo. Apply the No.4 Shampoo to wet hair and massage it well through your hair. Let it soak in for a while and then rinse well. What do the active ingredients in Maintenance Shampoo No.4 do?
The most important ingredient in this product is bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate. Okay, you can quickly forget this scientific name. The most important thing is that you know what it does:
Your hair consists mainly of the protein Keratin. This protein consists of a chain of amino acids, which are in every hair. If the protein is at a good level and your hair is not damaged, this chain will be strong, giving you strong hair. Sufficient protein ensures that your hair remains strong. If your hair is damaged, this chain is interrupted. The result: holes in the chain and damaged hair. Did you know that bleaching breaks this chain? This ingredient ensures that the amino acids bond with each other again. It creates a link between the two loose amino acids, making the chain strong again.
Can I also use Maintenance Shampoo No.4 if I have had a keratin treatment?
