Rose Quartz and Jade are both crystals that form the basis of skincare products such as gua shas and facial rollers. And not without reason! These stones have many benefits for your skin: they immediately cool and soothe your skin. Compared to Jade, Rose Quartz is a harder and more brittle crystal. Rose Quartz rollers and gua shas are therefore often more expensive than jade stone facial rollers.

1. Start with a clean face and skin
2. Put a few drops of facial oil or facial serum of your choice on your (clean!) fingertips and spread it over your face.
3. Hold the Gua Sha flat against the face, starting at the forehead. Make movements with gentle but firm pressure, starting from the eyebrows towards the hairline.
4. Repeat the same movements over the cheeks, then glide from the nostril to the ear in an outward motion.
5. Continue to the jaw with the end of the Gua Sha with the cavity of the heart. Start at the chin and work up to the ear.
6. Gently massage under the ear with the ends of the Gua Sha to release tension .
7. For the eyes, gently move the Gua Sha from the inner corner of the eye to the temple. Because this area is very sensitive, it is important to apply light pressure.
8. Finish with the neck, moving from bottom to top for strengthening and from top to bottom.
9. During and after the massage, your facial skin may become red, which is completely normal! This shows that the Gua Sha massage has been performed properly and thus stimulates blood circulation. Make sure that the repetitive movements are not performed too hard, to avoid irritation of the skin.

For optimal results, we recommend repeating each movement 3 to 5 times per part of the face.
